Under Consideration Manually deleting video from SD card
Just set up TC85 cameras and have them successfully recording events to the SD card. Is there a way to manually delete unwanted videos from the card using the App? Or does the until keep recording/storing files until full, then begins to overwrite the oldest one first without any way to do manual cleanup?
TIA
Phil

Hi,
Thank you for your update.
The latest firmware update for some Tapo cameras adds the option to delete SD card videos on the Tapo APP.
For mode details, please refer to the "Delete Videos saved in SD Card/Hub" part in this Article: How to Download/Delete Videos from Your Tapo Camera or Doorbell
For devices that do not currently have support, we understand the anticipation for new features. Adding support to existing devices is a process that requires careful development and testing. We are working methodically to expand compatibility through future firmware updates and appreciate your patience as we roll out these improvements step by step. To verify support for this feature in a new firmware version, please refer to the accompanying release notes post-update. The inclusion of the feature in the notes is the definitive indication of its support.
Best Regards,

I'm far from celebrating. I have c402, C403, C120, & C560WS none of which have the ability to delete individual videos. All are running the latest firmware. Can't give kuddos for something that should never have been an issue. Truly UNBELIEVABLE!

It's insaine this isn't a feature already as it's basic operation.
All I can think is they are hoping you fill your SDCard and decide to go with the cloud subcription.
Yes you can format, but that is NOT a solution.
