 Hi @Wayne-TP !

Is it possible to add an "Auto On" feature so the P300 will turn on if it has been turned off? It's the opposite of the "Auto Off" feature. This is different to " Default State" as in my case the power is still on.

This would help with remote management if say the internet is connected to one of the smart plugs and has been inadvertently turned off remotely. In this example it can't be turned back on remotely.

Regards Rob

  @RobAC

You may raise a feature request for it.

If the appliance is not the router that provides internet access to the smart plug, this can be achieved by creating an automation, e.g. when outlet A turns off, then turn on outlet A in 1 minute. How to create Smart Action (automation or a shortcut) of my Tapo devices

Thanks  @Wayne-TP !

Funnily enough it is the router so I need a device based method and I assume the Automation is cloud based and won't work in this case as the router is off if that makes sense.

A potential manual work around is to create a schedule to turn back on at regular intervals but there is a limit on the number of scheduled events (say if I added a "Turn Device On" every 15 minutes as a catch-all)

Many Regards
