Need to disable IR manually.

Two cameras face each other, one blinds the other.

In daymode the spotlight is active automatically, which is even more unwanted.

Hi,
Have you placed two cameras very close to each other, facing one another? Could you please describe your specific usage scenario in detail for evaluation?

Generally, when the camera is in day mode, the spotlight only turns on when someone manually activates it in the Tapo app. If you don't turn on the spotlight manually, but it's on, we recommend changing the password for your TP-Link account, ensuring no one else is logged in to the Tapo app with your account, and then checking whether the spotlight turns on automatically.
What if I forget my TP-Link ID password for TP-Link Tapo/Kasa device

Best Regards
