Hi Everyone

 

I just received my C320WS today but compared to my C425 and my C325WB the Camera seems to be lacking a lot of functionality. Pet Detection, "Activity Zones - Set for All", setting Resolution in the Camera Preview (2k, 720p, Auto), Setting Notification Frequency, etc. and MOST IMPORTANTLY, showing detected Tags with the blue square

 

I also cannot set activity zones for Person or Vehicle Detection, ONLY for Motion Detection and Pet detection is completely missing too.

 

How do I get these? Firmware Update says the Camera is on the newest Update.

Hi,
The features on Tapo camera vary on different models, currently, the Tapo C320WS does not support the Pet Detection, "Activity Zones - Set for All", and Detection Tag features.

On the Tapo cameras, you can go to the camera's Device Settings> Video & Display>Video Quality to select the different resolutions if needed.

 

Where did you set notification frequency on the Tapo app? It would be highly appreciated if you could provide more info.

Hi! It would be nice to at least have "Set detection zones for all detections" AND individual zones like with the C425 as well as Detection Tag Features, Switching Resolution between 2k, 720p and Auto in the view where we can also toggle the Detection Tag Feature on other Cameras like the C425. I did not set the Notification Frequency myself but it'd be nice in general to be able to define a cooldown. At the moment I get multiple notifications within a minute if a person keeps moving in the cameras view - But it'd be nice to set like, a 1, 2 or 5 Minute cooldown after the last notification because this way I end up with 100s of Notifications within an hour
