H200, flashing status lights
Hi,
Over the last few days the status lights on my H200 hub starts flashing red and green slowly.
According to the manual this means it's "ready for setup", but it is set up and operating normally.
If I reboot it, the status light turns to solid green, as expected, but then, a day or so later it starts doing it again
As far as I can tell, nothing unusual or unexpected is happening on my network or with any of my Tapo devices.
All of my devices have the latest firmware.
I have a doorbell, a H100 and a C120 camera (although that obviously doesn't connect to the hub)
Any suggestions what might be going on?

I mistakenly thought the recent H200 hub firmware was the public fix for this.
My hub updated to 1.3.5 Build 20240726 rel.48294 after receiving a notification for this new firmware last week.
It's not documented on the H200 release notes, which is why I thought this must be for the fix:

As I've mentioned over in the Hub section, after applying this firmware my red/green flashing status lights cleared and stayed at green, but came back yesterday and not cleared by a reboot. But my camera functions seem to be working ok.
Is there an ETA for the 'fix' firmware for general release or is email request the only way of getting it for now?
Could you give the version number for the fix firmware?
I seem to be all working normally (just flashing hub light) so not desperate at the moment.
Thanks.

This states:
Solution

...That's the firmware I mention above???

This is an issue limited only to the LED behavior, and it only occurs on certain H200 devices with wireless connectivity (not all of them). The functionality of the hub or its sub-devices will not be affected.
Production firmware for this issue has not been released yet. You can keep an eye on this forum thread for any updates on the situation.

@Wayne-TP It would be worth updating the "solution" in the link I mentioned as this is confusing...

Hello everyone, can you check whether your Tapo H200 is connected wirelessly to the router or using the ethernet connection?
Our R&D team has managed to locate a problem when the H200 uses a wireless connection. A beta firmware is available as a temporary fix. If you like to test it, send the Mac address of your H200 to @Wayne-TP via private message.
