P100 failed, switching light on & off repeatedly.

Any suggestions on how to fix this

  • Check whether the appliance connected to the smart plug exceeds the rated load. The smart plug can be damaged easily when it is in an overloaded state for an extended period.
  • Unplug the smart plug for a while and change to a different outlet. 
  • Try to factory reset the smart plug.  How to factory reset the Tapo smart plug

 

If the problem remains, contact the local support team to proceed with the warranty.

It's a hardware fault. No amount of resets will fix.
