@David-TP Hi,
I'm ready to buy a X50-5g v2.0 that seems has newer 5g modem as it advertises 4.67gbps theoretical speed, instead of the 3.4gbps of v1.0/v1.2
Does it supports VPN this one?
I see that the V1 has support even for wireguard, but the V2?
The "main plan" is to use it in conjunction with an existing X95 Deco
Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Deco X50-5G_V2 supports PPTP/L2TP/Open VPN server/client, but it hasn't added WireGuard VPN protocol. Nor did Deco X50-5G_V1/V1.2.
Best regards.

Hi, thanks for clearing it up.
Another question (as i'm using already a v2 :) )
It's written on the web that v1 (based on the date of the reviews) has Snapdragon X62 modem. (and advertises /the theoretical always/ 3.4gbps speed). The v2. is it publicly available the info, what type of modem has? (cause advertises/stamped on the box 4.67gbps). Is it the same? or something upgraded? As i have for comparison another 5g router with X65 modem (MC888A Ultra), it has a fair "distance" in the speedtests (1000mbps in DL vs ~1200mbps DL, in favor of the x65 modem/router but the same good UL of ~130mbps in the same spot placed the routers), (i'm waiting a x50-5g V1 also to bring to me in order to do 1-1 comparison), but if its also the v2 x62 modem, then i'll cancel the delivery, to save time). Only thing i can see on the deco app is that it aggregates 4 xLTE bands and 1 xN78 band (x65 does 2 for example N78). If it's something better than x62 is there any way to select to aggregate a second N78 band in the deco app settings? Or even in a future app version?
Thanks for your time again.

Hi, I'm afraid I haven't found any details about the 5G chipset of Deco X50-5G_V2. From what I learnt, the RAM of V2 is much powerful than V1.
"Only thing i can see on the deco app is that it aggregates 4 xLTE bands and 1 xN78 band (x65 does 2 for example N78)"
I think you might refer to its Carrier Aggregation bands. Deco X50-5G doesn't support manually selecting the CA bands.
Here are "Cell Lock" and "Band>Manual Option". But I think it can only fix a single band for LTE/5G NR.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
