Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.9.0

Hi all,

I cannot make this switch trigger notifications / actions the way I need.

What I am wanting to do is if a door is left open between hours 'x' and 'y' then send a notification and turn on a smart lamp, I have it partially working.

I can get this to work but only if the switch is triggered between those times, eg.
'Effective Time' = 9pm to 6am, if at 10pm I open the door the trigger works.

If the door is already open at 8:55pm and the clock rolls over to 9pm there is no alert.

How do I set up the triggers so that at 9pm if the door is already open then send a notification?

Thanks.

  @Wayne-TP Thanks Wayne, in the end what worked for me (and this is for others reading along).
Open warning:

Effective Time = Always

When = 9pm
If = Open
Then = Do smart actions (notification and smart lamp control).

For the door being closed:
Effective Time = Always
When = Closed
If = N/A
Then = Turn off smart lamp

  @MC68332

Add another automation: When at 9:00 PM, If T110 is Open, Then turn on smart lamp or send notification.
