Hi,

I got a P125M smart plug, it is rated max 10A 2300W, but if I check power protection it doesn't allow me to set more than 940W.

I have other 16A tapo smart plugs and all of them allow me to set power protection up to 3600W. Why is the limit of P125M such low?

Thanks

The maximum value that can be set for power protection is calculated based on the measured voltage when the smart plug is powered on. If the circuit voltage fluctuates greatly when you insert different smart plugs, the maximum value that can be set for power protection will be greatly different.

You can try to unplug and reconnect the smart plug.
