I have a number of plugs which I use to control things using the timer function which until now has be all that I need.  But I now have a new requirement which I think I should be able to automate usinggeofencing, but can't seem to work it out.

My question is this

If I set up some timer settings so that the plug switches on and off to a schedule when I am home, I would like then like an automation to detect I am away from home and override the timer settings.

For example,

Plug comes on at 8:00am and off at 9:30am, then on again at 5:00pm and off at 7:30pm.

If I go out at 8:30, the plug should go off immediately, which I think is straight forward, but If I then don't return until 9:00pm, I don't want the plug to turn on for the 5:00-7:30 slot, but I do want it to come on at 8:00 the next morning.

Any advice on how to set up the automation for this would be gratefully received.
