cant change schedule "network is unstable please try again later"
Hello, I have a tapo smart plug connected to a wifi network that has no internet access.
Up until today i was able to use the tapo app on my phone, while connected to the same wifi that has no internet access, to set the schedule for my tapo plug.
Today, i haven't been able to change the schedule since the app says "network is unstable please try again later".
However, i can perfectly turn on and off the plug from the app, I just cant set the schedule.
How do i fix it?

I really can't understand why I need to be comneto the internet to change my schedule while i can turn the plug on and off from the same app. It seems such a basic common sense implementation.

Disable VPN on your phone if any. If you own a network with different subnets, make sure connecting the phone to the same wifi subnet as the smart plug.
Try to power cycle the smart plug. Reset and reconfigure the smart plug if the problem still exists.

@Wayne-TP I have a Tp Link TL MR 105 4G modem without an inserted sim card. I have no VPN on the phone
Another problem I experienced was that once the power went out in the whole home, the plug "forgot" its schedule despite ot still being shown in the tapo app. Is there a way to make it remember the schedule if the power goes out?

If there has been a power outage, smart plug needs to reconnect to the internet to resynchronize the device time. Otherwise, the device time will be incorrect, and the schedule may not take effect or may trigger at the wrong time.
