Error 1, battery error.
When I opened the product box, the power button was already turned ON on the cleaner. I am unable to turn it on if it is not connected to the dock. If I connect it to the dock, it boots up, then the middle play button flashes ones, then immediately the dock button flashes red, and the cleaner says Error 1, battery error.
I tried to leave it on the dock for 8 hours, nothing changed. I was able to connect it to the app while it was docked.
I tried to update the firmware, but the app says it is not connected to the dock.

Did you buy a brand-new device or a refurbished version? When you received the robot vacuum, were there dust protection plastic stickers around the body of the product?

I bought it two days ago on Amazon, but due to the discounts, the stock is now sold out, and they can’t replace it. Did you purchase it in a physical store? Was the replacement handled directly by TP-Link or by the store? Thanks!

@Pulc Hi! I bought it at a local online store (I am from Hungary) and I wrote down the issue and they refunded the money, and I ordered the same product. Try to ask for a refund at least, they should do it under warranty.

Altought you can try what I did. I sent the MAC address of the device to Wayne-TP, they sent me a firmware update. I was unable to install it, it said the same error, but you can try, maybe it works.
