I have Ring Call enabled on a Samsung  S24. When the phone is on lock screen and the door bell rings, I receive a notification but the screen remains locked. To see who is on the door I have to press on the notification icon and wait 5-10 seconds while Live View comes on. I would like Live View to wake the phone up and show instantly.

 

I have allowed all the permsissions listed on the Allow Ring Call Permissions screen but I cannot see how to allow the final option: 'Show on Lock Screen, Open new windows while running in the background,' This option does not appear in the Apps> Manage Apps menu, nor in Apps>Permission Manager. Any suggestions how to alow this option?

“Show on Lock Screen” means the push notification, not camera liveview screen. We cannot automatically bypass the phone's lock screen to show camera liveview screen when someone rings the doorbell. 

 

A quicker way to see camera image is to choose the ring call notification option, you can see the camera feed after answering on your phone.

 

If you have an Alexa display device at home, you can set it up to automatically show the camera feed when someone rings the doorbell. Unlock New Smart Home Capabilities with Alexa Integration on Your Tapo Camera/Video Doorbell ​​​​​​​

  @Wayne-TP   Thanks. I have already the Ring Call option selected. By the time I have answered the notification and Live View has connected quite a few seconds have elapsed since the caller rang the bell. The same applies to the Alexa app.  I was hoping for a quicker video feed.

You may check the signal strength of the doorbell, improve device's network connection if the signal is weak. How to check and improve the network connection stability of Tapo&Kasa smart devices

 

If you prefer to see the camera image immediately, consider keeping the camera live stream open all the time with a dedicated device in the local WiFi network, such as a tablet. However, note that the local stream might be interrupted when there are multi-streamings.
