Temperature and humidity sensor integration with alexa as a trigger.

Hello everyone.
This has been a common questions in this forum, and I've seen many people say that it's not possible to use the tapo temperature and humidity sensor as a trigger with alexa routines. Well, it is now.
All you have to do is open the tapo h100 hub on the tapo app (on your phone), click settings (upper right), then click "bind to matter" and follow the instructions. Also, make sure you have the latest hub firmware. It'll work like a charm.
Temperature and humidity will show on the triggers list on alexa.

Thank you for sharing! Use T310/T315 as an Alexa routine trigger is now supported since Tapo hub's Matter support (Matter Bridge).
But note that the humidity trigger is not supported, only the temperature trigger is available so far.

@Wayne-TP Alexa allowed me to trigger a routine with humidity levels. I simply set up an alert but have not seen one yet so maybe it just doesn't work?

@Wayne-TP - may I know, why it is not supported yet and when it will be available in the future?. Thanks

@Wayne-TP Hi. Do you know when I will be able to trigger routines in Alexa using the humidity readings from the T315. So far, I can only do it based on temperature

@Sergiobsb I bought a Tapo T310 temperature sensor and connected to H200 hub. Alexa detected temperature sensor but for setting up Routine in Alexa, it does not show temperature as a parameter in the event. My goal is to set an action in Alexa when the temperature reaches above a limit.
Only it shows humidity level in the event that I dont care. Can you notify me when temperature is added as a event parameter for Alexa Routine ?

@Sergiobsb In Alexa Routines, for creating new Routines, first we need to add an event. In my case I need an event from Tapo temperature sensor. However after selection of Tapo temperature sensor from the smart home event it shows only for humidity. Attached the screenshots. I need temperature sensor show temperature above a set limit should trigger an alarm or notification in Alexa .

@ShanMA Does the change in humidity actually do anything? I just set up the rise in humidity to trigger my bathroom fan and nothing happened. It is odd the humdity slider is there given that the info on alexa for the sensor only shows temp.
