Hello,

 

I have recently purchased the above device to go along-side the plethora of Kasa devices I already have.  This my first "tapo" branded device and as such the first time I've installed the tapo android application.

 

However, after using the device for a few weeks, I have no reported energy consumption in the Tapo app for any of the 4 sockets.

 

I've tried what I believe to be a factory reset (pressing and holding the power 1 button for 10 seconds an reconfiguring) however this has not fixed the problem.

 

Do I have a faulty unit, or am I missing something?

Do you see the power data? Does the data appear blank or as 0? Please share some screenshots of your smart plug's energy report graph in the Tapo app.

  @Wayne-TP, thanks for the response.

 

I see no data, the energy usage shows as <0.001kwh and the current power shows <1w

 

Plugged into this socket is a 32" Monitor, which when tested on an older "Kasa" meter draws ~40 watts when in use:
