Hello,

I would like to use Auto Off feature which my recently purchased P110 labeled with hardware version 1.2 supports.

However the feature is not shown in the app and probably because the app lists this new device still with hardware version  1.0

My Android app version is 3.8.115 and there is no hint if a new version is available.

The auto-off feature is on plug's Device Settings page, did you check it? How to Set up Schedule, Away Mode, and Timer for Smart Plug/Bulb/Switch in Tapo App

Before calling for help I checked the manual and knew to look at the device setting page.

When comparing the English setting page menu order from your link to my German settings page I actually found it.

You just have a wrong translation in the settings page and named the Auto Off Timer "Zeitschaltuhr" which is misleading because it means schedule timer.

If you do not want more users not finding it it would be a good idea to use a better translation in your next update e.g. "Autoabschaltung" or just leave the English "Auto Off Timer" which 99% of all German users will understand.

There still is a bug on device information page where hardware version shows 1.0 while the sticker on my device says 1.2

Thank you for the feedback for the app translation, I'll report it to the relevant team to check it. 

 

As for the hardware version of the app, the information is correct, please don't worry. For certain hardware versions of some models, the decimal point is used to indicate information unrelated to the product software, such as the production batch or origin. In this case, the version number of this model will not display a decimal in the app.
