Been using this Doorbell D230 and Hub H200 for about a year now. Just recently doorbell keeps disconnecting and shows blinking red led. So i did a factory reset on the doorbell and couldn't get it to reconnect to the hub. Tried all ways even resetting the hub and taking out the sd card. Hub is able to connect to the app and works perfectly. Just couldn't get the doorbell to sync. HELP!!

Does the LED indicator of the doorbell and the hub change normally during configuration?

  • D230 LED blinking red and green: Ready for pairing
  • H200 blinking green slowly: Pairing

 

If the device's LED shows normal pairing mode changes but pairing fails, further analysis is needed. You may refer to the following steps to submit a support ticket to the support team. 

  1. Enable Diagnostics mode on the H200 hub.
  2. Reproduce the problem.
  3. Support a support ticket in the Tapo app and add an App Log for further analysis. How to get the log of Tapo app
