Turning off WiFi on Tapo P100 to reduce electrosmog

Is it possible to turn off the WiFi on the smart plugs once the setup is done to reduce electrosmog?

Are you asking for the smart plug wifi or the wifi connection between plug and the router?
The smart plug wifi is used for device configuration only, it will disappear once the setup is completed. But note that some model's setup method is not through wifi, if it is a Bluetooth-setup mode, the smart plug does not have a device wifi.
However, if you are referring to the latter, you can simply turn off the router's Wi-Fi or block smart plug's connection. Keep in mind that in this case, the smart plug will lose its smart control functionality, and you won't be able to use the Tapo app to control it. However if that's the case, I'm quite confused about your purpose of getting a smart plug.
