D235 Not communicating the Eero routrer

Trying to setup a new Tapo D235 doorbell and Hub, however, I can’t get beyond the point of connecting the D235 to my Eero 6 router. I’ve disabled the 5GHz option to allow access to the 2.4 option only.
I’m getting ‘Tapo_DoorBell_E285’ appear as a standalone network on my settings with a message;
‘Unsecured network’, then ‘No Internet Connection’. Its simply not latching on to my network address to enable a connection to be established.
Please, can anyone assist before I return everything?

Do you remember what the error message was? As the doorbell wifi is still visible, I assume you were stuck on the first step - find and connect the smart doorbell.
There are two steps that require your phone to connect wifi, the first one is to connect the smart doorbell wifi so that the app can find and connect this smart device. In your case, that is the 'Tapo_DoorBell_E285', it does not have internet access as it is used for device configuration only.
The next step will be to choose a router wifi to connect to.

Got there in the end. Deleted/Added everything, restarted router and it appears to have resolved it.

Thank you for your reply.
As I'm on 1.5 ( see attached) could it be a faulty Hub.?
I have tried most options, reboot, add/ remove all to no avail.

Good news.
After several attempts I’ve now got it to communicate and it functions as a means of securing internal storage, though the Chime function is not currently active.
Thank you for your assistance.

Well, 2 hours later and it’s fallen over, message Disconnected from Hub. Don’t know if this hub is fit for purpose?

Can you share a screenshot of the error? Have you enabled the WiFi backup (doorbell Device Settings >Network Connection)?
What's the device signal strength of the doorbell? *Tap the wifi icon next to the Network Connection to check the RSSI rate.

Once again thank you for your support.
Today I reset everything and now it's recording to the Hub ag. Don't know how long that will last, it's the uncertainty surrounding it's stability that concerns me most.

Not certain whether it’s a ‘feature’ of the D235 but it goes ‘off-line’ almost every day since I managed to get this up and running. I have to reboot to get coms restored.
I simply can’t rely on it to consistently function as intended.
I’m at the point where I feel like returning this kit and reverting to Google Nest where I never experienced and of these issues.
