Model: Tapo H200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.0 build20250109 ref.40191

SD card running well and recording with no issues, then message saying new SD care (NOT) needs to be initialised. Fails at 70%

Try reboot and reformat - nothing. this is the 6th SD card it's destroyed

What's going on?????

What SD card do you use and where did you purchase it? Please share your purchase link here.

Regular SD cards are typically designed for digital cameras and may not be suitable for continuous recording. They are not recommended for use with dash cams, home monitoring, or security systems. For security cameras with frequent read/write operations, it's best to use High/Max/Pro Endurance microSD cards, as they are specifically designed for continuous recording and overwriting.

Always make sure to buy from an authorized seller. Be careful about cheap SD cards. Do not buy used or refurbished SD cards. Additionally, microSD cards have a limited read and write lifespan. Replace microSD cards once every few years to reduce potential failure.
