Firmware Version: 1.3.1

After charging battery motion detection doesn't work on camera at front of house

 

Thought it was the recording at fault but can manually record

 

Reset absolutely everything including the hub. Back camera works, front camera still doesn't work

 

Checked angles etc and even activated the alarm and proceeded to wave and dance. Nothing. No detecting. All settings set to maximum. I've followed ever single suggestion on these forums. The camera is less than 18 months old. Completely unacceptable.

Do you receive any error when doing the manual recording?

 

Try to walk across the camera field of view while opening the camera live stream page in the Tapo app at the same time. Check whether the detection and recording functions in this case, when the camera is awaked.
