TAPO D235 constantly going offline

Tapo D235 dooebell which is only a couple of weeks old is always going offline and telling me it can't communicate at the moment. It has a wifi signal speed of 31mps and -47 RSSI quality. it is situated less than a metre from the signal sender and the signal only has to go through one pane of glass. Does this indicate there is a problem with the unit (bought direct from manufacturer) or is there something I can do to get it to stay connected? At the moment it seems to have a mind of its own(AI maybe) and only connects when it wants to. Any help would be appreceiated before I give up and box it up for return, thank you in advance.
As a add on to this post, I also get a message saying 'Network unstable' and I can see above the live stream picture(when I can get one) the KB's figure constantly changing, ranging from 0 to 375Kb's. Not sure what this means if anything or what to do about it as my wifi is rock solid everwhere I test it including infront of the doorbell.

@900Sport Thanks very much for the update. As it seems we now both have the same Sky router and latest beta firmware I can report that as of now I have seen a big improvement, still not perfect and needs some tweeking. At last it now never shows as offline in the Tapo app which it was doing every few hours of the day, connects to live view I would say about 75 to 80% of the time sometimes with slight delay but there are still some occasions fails to connect.. seems to be recording continually and giving me notifications for movement etc..will send the engineer the diagnostic logs in 9 days but getting there slowly..

@Steveb26 So frustrated with Tapo D235, now my replacement 235 has again bricked following installation of latest beta firmware...About to give up on resolving this doorbell connectivity issue. None of my other Tapo cameras, plugs or water leak and door sensors ever have any issues just the darn doorbell..!!!

Hi all,
Jumping in here as someone who just replaced a Nest Hello Doorbell with the D235 and is now (within 2 days) experiencing a fairly constant "tap to refresh" error when streaming the doorbell on the Tapo app regardless of whether I have the canera set to 960p or 2k.
My circumstances are:-
The D235 is Hardwire Powered.
Set to Always On Mode
300mb Fibre Internet
WiFi signal strength is -52(RSSI)
Firmware Version 1.1.19
Using a SanDisc Ultra 512GB Class 10 Micro SD card in the doorbell.
Not using the Tapo Care.
Video quality set to Auto
Frame Rate set to 20fps
Is there anything I can do to reduce the amount of refresh errors I get or is the fact the D235 is arelatively new just mean we have to wait for firmware updates to improve the streaming performance? Would signing up to the Tapo Care plan for online rather than local micro SD Card storage improve things?

@BenEadir I can only speak for myself, but Tapo care doesn't really help you. If the doorbell is offline it is offline so won't upload to the cloud. At least it still saves to the SD card though...
Do you have a sky router per chance? All our issues seem to revolve around that.
The previous posters have had beta software to test which improves things but is not yet a 100% fix. I guess they will sort it eventually, but it is very poor the experiences everyone are having.

@BetterDays2972 Really sorry to hear this. Will they send you another replacement? Given they bricked it?
I've also got two other Tapo cameras and they work without any issues ever. This is so frustrating!

@Steveb26 Am hoping so and will hear tomorrow but Tapo engineer trying to say it may be issue with my network which is nonesense as I have Sky 500 fibre broadband and all other devices work flawlessly. Seems to be this ongoing issue with Sky SR203 routers, they send out a beta firmware which certainly improves connectivity to some degree but DO NOT reset the doorbell if you have the beta firmware as it will brick the doorbell, I am 100% certain that is the cause of my 2 bricked D235s....

@Steveb26 Hi Steve, thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.
No, I've a Virgin Media router to which I've added a 3 unit mesh dual channel network so WiFi coverage all over the house (3 adults WFH etc) is excellent on all connected devices including at the front door.
Useful to know adding Tapo Care won't help.
I guess I'll just plod along until things improve via firmware.

@BenEadir I am having the same issue with my Virgin media Hub 4. Hopefully there is a firmware patch to fix this.

@Xevid SOOO many people now having major issues with the D235 stability and connection drop outs...thought it was mainly with Sky SR203 routers but now it seems lots of different makes of routers have issues with D235.. Tapo engineers do personal beta firmware updates rather than stable universal update solutions to connectivity issues. As previously mentioned just had my second t(three week old) replacement 235 brick on doing a simple factory reset button push. Tapo were due to get back to me this morning but no response as yet ! Will see if they get back to me..
