Hi,

 

I have two issues with my RCV30. The water is not dispensing and also the mop gets caught on a flat rug and the bin detaches - which is not a large obstacle - really annoying as it stops the clean until reattached, then happens again a few minutes later.

 

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix. I have ensured air inlet is opening and no obvious blockage to the jets.

 

 How do I claim on warranty etc?

Check the troubleshooting suggestions here. What to do if Tapo robot vacuum doesn't dispense water when mopping?

 

When using the robot vacuum, especially on carpeted areas, please remove the mop if possible. The combination of the mop and carpet increases the friction, which can significantly hinder or completely prevent the vacuum's movement. 

 

What's the type of your carpet? Can you share a picture here?

  @Wayne-TP the main issue is lack of water. I have tested pump separate from main body, which is fine, contracts are clean. I would suggest it's a software issue...

 

 To be clear - this is a lack of water being pumped. 
 

Do I just send back and get refund or reset - please help.

Do you have carpet areas created on the map? Double-check the cleaning preference set for the carpet area, the device won't mop the carpet area if it is set to Vacuum only. Feature 6: Carpet Feature -- How to optimize and edit Map of Tapo Robot Vacuum
