"Are you saying the camera cannot be found if you try to do this through hub's setting page? But if you do this through camera settings, the H500 shows up as an storage location option?
Yes, that's right. Pairing via the device itself is ok. There you can select SD-card or Hub.
"What Tapo cameras do you have?"
We have the C660 Camera-kit and the D235 Video doorbell as connected devices".
"Which button did you press? The Answer (phone icon) or Decline (sound icon) button?
As soon as the button on the Video doorbell (D235) is pressed the phone and tablet start ringing. We assume that by pressing the button with the phone icon on the H500 can be used to answer the call.
Another issue:
It is striking that if you have the Tapo app active on both a smart phone and a tablet and you accept the call from the video doorbell, the call continues to ring on the tablet. More than one device to answer the video call is apparently not desired if they are in the same room.
To assist with this case, a specialist will help to follow it up through email. Please check your inbox later to confirm.

Would be great to get an acknowledgment to this question please.
It would be really helpful to know when this will be available in Ireland or the UK - especially if it'll be this side of summer.
Thanks.

Hi. Any indication of when this will be available in Ireland and the UK?
I'm afraid we don't have information regarding product sales, this is a global community and the product availability varies from countries and regions.
Here are some tips about how you can check for product availability and where to purchase it, though:
1. Product availability: Check the local TP-Link website for the product model:
1) If the model is listed, it's either already released or will be soon.
2) If labeled as "Coming Soon", it indicates a planned release in this country/region.
3) If not found, there are no near plans in short teams.
2. Where to Buy and What is the price
- Tapo Online Store (UK)
- Check from TP-Link authorized retailers: Where To Buy
Note: Product inventory availability varies between retailers based on their sales plans for different models.

@Wayne-TP Couple of questions that I can't seem to find answers for.
I have Tapo care. Can I continue to use this when activations occur - as well as storing on the hub?
Can I easily access the hub from outside my home network as I currently access devices.
Confirm that all the functionality of the APP continues to be available from anywhere.
Will door lock DL110 be suported.
Thanks

I bought a tapo homebase and have 3 cameras hanging at home. I do it via the homebase directly share with my screen and one of the cameras works and with the rest it says: Battery-powered cameras only start mirroring when an events is detected. if ai detection is disabled, mirroring will be deactivated. I have the Tapo C310 cameras

Cloud videos do not conflict with the local recordings, you will get both when the camera detects movement. The hub is the same as other Tapo devices, it supports remote control by default.
The hub can be paired with the smart door lock to work as a chime.

@Wayne-TP For HDMI mirroring, will the D225 doorbell live stream? I also get the note on screen saying, "Live stream paused. Battery powered cameras only start mirroring when an event is detected. If AI is disabled, mirroring will be deactivated". My D225 is hardwired and the app even says its being powered by my home. Yes, it has a battery also, but doorbell is set to always on. AI empowered is set up for doorbell in H500 part of app. If I walk out in front of doorbell, all works with HDMI mirring on tv. Then, it turns off once I come back in house. Doorbell streams live fibe in app and on our amazon alxea echo show.

Hi Wayne,
Question about internal vs external HDD/SSD storage. I fully understand the internal 2.5 form factor SATA drive capabilities but does the H500 support an external HDD/SSD via the USB 2.0 port without an extra internal drive being fitted? This is to support 24/7 recording not just for backup.
This is based around the fact that 3.5 form factor drives are less expensive and usually larger.
Thanks.
