The last time i checked, T100, T110 and T310/T315 can all be synced to Apple Home app through Matter. The smart button and T300 are not supported.

Firmware update – My hub is running firmware v1.1.2, but on the TP-Link website I see v1.3.1. The Tapo app does not offer me this update. Is there any way to manually install or trigger the newer firmware?

The latest firmware 1.3.1 has included modifications for the face recognition feature. A new firmware is usually released in stages. Before the full release, it is normal that some devices cannot detect the latest version. Please be patient as the release scale will be increased gradually.

Can you correct events when footage is stored on Tapo h500 and when using camera AI?
The same question, can you correct events when footage is stored on Tapo h500 and when using h500 AI Empowerment?
For example it's not possible with h200 hub (it's possible for c225, but only when footage is kept on camera memory card):
Will I still be able to delete footage for c260 camera stored on h500 hub like I can do it when footage is stored on camera memory card?

The device randomly goes offline every day and is no longer reachable. The only way to restore the connection is to restart the router.
The H500 is connected to Wi-Fi and I can't use Ethernet. I've tried splitting the network with two separate SSID (2.4GHz and 5GHz) or using a single network, but the problem persists.
When offline the H500 displays a flashing green on status LED.
Firmware version is: 1.3.1 Build 20250822 rel. 65691

Having the same issues, I am constantly updating the 'strangers' to 'familiars' by manually adding the family to the AI on the app. It does recognize us occasionally, but with around 5000 images having been added for only 4 people you would hope so, but yet we are still strangers more often than not.
The other issue, this is to @Wayne-TP re the H500 is why if the AI recognizes us does it allow the cameras to still record video, as all it is doing is filling the H500 storage?
I have currently 2 x C110s indoors that can fill the storage in a day, can we have access to automate the storage management of the H500 through your Automations or an API that we could do ourselves, as the current situation is not great, I appreciate there is looping but it would be nice to have the option?

@marcox What's the signal strength of your hub? Go to Device Settings page, choose Network Connection, click the WiFi icon to show the RSSI rate.

Is your hub's firmware updated? The latest firmware is 1.3.1. If there are still problems with the facial recognition, we recommend contacting the technical support team for further assistance. Contact Technical Support
Tapo API is not open to the public. We do not recommend managing your Tapo devices through unauthorized platforms or methods, as the product performance cannot be guaranteed, and we don't provide support for such unofficial usages.

The hub is about 1 meter from the Wi-Fi router and the signal is quite good. Now it's powered off because it keeps going offline and also blocks the cameras.

@Wayne-TP ok then if tou wont allow access via api, then can you allow us to access the storage via the automations so that we can clear recordings if you insist on keeping it on the app?
Firmware is up to date and I've been via tech support without success, and I'm still manually updating strangers as AI still not doing its job unfortunately.
