Tapo D235 Two Way Audio Not Working

Hi
I have a new Tapo D235 installed. It is hard wired and the wi-fi connection is excellent.
When somebody presses the doorbell outside on the D235 I get a notification and then answer the ring.
The problem is, I can hear them but they cannot hear me.
I have allowed the Tapo App to access my iPhone's microphone.
Isn't this D235 device supposed to allow two way conversations?
Am I missing something?

Make sure the doorbell speaker is on and check the volume.
Test whether you can hear sound from the doorbell when using the Quick Response feature.
Is your Tapo app updated? Try to delete and reinstall the app. Test whether another phone or tablet has the same issue.
