What kind of notification are you referring to? Remind the user to log in? I have never seen any apps that send such notifications. If a user is not logged in, no user information or related configuration settings will be read, which means no notifications will be generated.

There is no feature or design specifically tailored for this scenario, and the only notification type available is app push notifications so far.

The activation of the geofencing automation requires the Tapo app to always run in the background and have access to the phone's GPS info, and most importantly, a TP-Link ID should be logged in.

In my opinion, this seems more like an active behavior on the user or mobile device level rather than something the app can control. It's similar to shopping: we choose what to buy, rather than products asking us if we need them. If the phone's system shuts down the app, it will remain closed until you reopen it.
