I just bought a Tapo C410 KIT cctv camera. However, I realized that the resolution of the video I downloaded onto my phone is not very clear (with lots of jagged edges). Certainly not 2K resolution as advertized by TP-Link. I have tried to change the resolution on the app but the results don't change much. Is there anyway I can increase the resolution?

For this issue, we recommend reaching the local TP-Link support directly for assistance, providing some videos for analysis.

 

Did you download a detection video, or record one yourself on the liveview page? If you are manually recording a video on the live streaming page, please double-check the current resolution of the camera. To avoid issues with video quality switching due to network conditions, we recommend testing again while your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi as the camera.

  @cachemano I have done both - downloading a detection video and recording live feed both produces mediocre quality videos.

Anyway, I will reach out the my local TP-Link Support.
