Model: Tapo P110M
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 240617 Rel.153525

Pressing the app's power button turns off the plug's green light, but power continues flowing to the connected equipment. I've done a factory reset twice and that resolves the issue for a short period (one or two days) and then the problem returns. The app doesn't record any power usage while the green light is off.

Please verify whether the appliance is a supported type by the Tapo smart plug. Controlling an unsupported device has risks of damaging the smart plug. Note that the Tapo P110M smart plug is suitable to control one appliance at a time, connecting a power strip to power multiple load devices is not recommended. Overload situations might occur without your awareness and damage the smart plug gradually as time goes by. What types of loads can the Tapo plug support?

If the product fails under proper usage, reach out to the retailer or local TP-Link support for warranty assistance.

I have been using this with a power strip as I was unaware that wasn't recommended. Your website says the P110M's maximum load is 2990W, 13A, 1/6 HP Motor. The total wattage of the devices connected to the power strip is way under the maximum load value and before unplugging, the P110M's maximum power usage level over the last seven days peaked at just under 200W.

I've now have just one device (Chromecast with Google TV) connected to the P110M but despite doing a factory reset three times, the power continues to flow when it's turned off.
