Loop Recording interrupted / stopped without any warning

I've encountered this issue for the third time now. Loop recording works fine for about 15 to 25 days, but then it suddenly stops without any warning. I'm unsure how to troubleshoot this. I haven't tried rebooting immediately when it happens. Usually, I format the SD card and then reboot the system — this temporarily resolves the issue and recording resumes.
However, this is quite inconvenient, and there's a risk of missing critical footage, especially if the issue goes unnoticed and we need the recordings urgently.
Please help me resolve this loop recording problem. My cameras are up to date, the SD card is functioning correctly, and even after loop recording stops, the live video feed continues to work normally.

Does the recording stop as soon as the SD card becomes full? Please try to use a different sd card, we recommend using a smaller one as it can be filled up faster. This can help to determine whether the problem is related to the memory being full, and whether the issue only occurs on a specific SD card.
Additionally, please do run a test on your SD card to ensure it is in good condition, otherwise, all the troubleshooting will be for nothing. How to Verify Fake Micro SD Cards

@samsnape same here with me. I've even changed my sd card 3 times now. The problem seems to be from the camera itself. It seems like the camera is ruining the sd card itself

What's the recording schedule on the camera? If it is set to record detection videos only, try switching to continuous recording. This can help to confirm whether the camera is not recording videos at all, or if it's just not recording detection video.

@Wayne-TP already selected continuous recording.

@Wayne-TP I’ve enabled the detection and tampering options because they save time when reviewing backlogs. If I disable detection, I’d have to watch the entire video to find what I’m looking for.

You don't need to disable the detection feature, just changing the SD card recording schedule to continuous recording. In the playback timeline, you can still see the detected events marked with their corresponding colors, and the event list below remains visible.
Which sd card do you use? Please share a link here. You can also try to change a different sd card.

Usually, the SD card is full and set to loop recording. This issue has only started happening recently. Previously, even when the card was full, recording continued without any problems. I'll wait for the SD card to fill up again, and if the issue persists as you mentioned, I'll update you here in this same conversation.
Apologies—I’m not at home right now, so I couldn’t replace the SD card.
Also, I can confirm the SD card is 100% original.

I also have this issue all of a sudden with 2 C500 and 1 C320WS all of them have stopped loop recording and need to be reformatted when the SD card is full.
all are on continuous recording, have Sandisk 128gb SD cards. All say firmware is upto date.
this started after an update a few months ago.
There is no reason they won't loop record so it's the caneras

Can you share the H2testw test result on your SD card?
What are the hardware and firmware versions of the camera?
