Password character limitation

Hello everyone!
I just discovered that my new co-working space is using some characters in the wifi password and the Tether app is not letting me use them.
The router has the latest firmware.
TP-Link Team you can release a fix for this issue ?

Hi,
You can try if it works via the web management interface and if it does, then use that as a workaround until TP-Link fixes the Tether app.
To get to the web management interface type http://tplinkwifi.net in the web browser's address bar.
If that doesn't work, then you need enter the TL-WR3002X's IP address instead, like http://192.168.0.254. To get the actual IP address of your TL-WR3002X open the Tether app, log into the TL-WR3002X and then tap on the large pictogram that resembles the TL-WR3002X. That should open a screen with various technical information about your TL-WR3002X, including its current IP address.
I don't have a TL-WR3002X to test with, but I just tried to use "Password#" with a few of my TP-Link devices, both using the web interface as well as the Tether app for Android, and "Password#" was always accepted.

Hi @Eaaasy,
Thank you for your feedback.
It seems that you can create a password via web interface with special characters.
Do you have other TP-Link products managed with the Tether APP? Have you encountered similar situations before?
I will report your situation to the engineer and reply here if there is an update.
Best Regards~

@Joseph-TP Unfortunately I don't have another device in Tether, only in Deco and there is no problem.
I am happy that I successfully connected via the web interface!
Please let me know when the app is fixed.
Many thanks!

I tested few days the last firmware update which brings new awesome features like VPN Merge service and other good changes to the UI.
Unfortunately the character limitation bug is still there on the mobile app Tether. I am happy that I was able to connect to different hotspots with special characters via web interface.

Latest version for both router and iOS app.
It's the same error from the first post. I'm using web interface until this is fixed.
