Tapo app crashing with IOS 18.5
Tapo app crashing with IOS 18.5
Since the update to IOS 18.5 the Tapo app crashes. Sometimes the screen goes black. Sometimes it will not connect to the cameras. Other times it totally crashes.
I have rebooted the iPad numerous times. I have rebooted the router.
I have it running on an older iPad without issues so the problem seems to be with iOS 18.5

What are the Tapo app versions on your two iPads?
Does the problem happen when you click to view the camera? Or when you open the Tapo app? Will the app shut down unexpectedly, or just unresponsive?

Both iPads are running Tapo version 3.11.105
iPad 6th generation running iOS 17.7.6 - no problems
Problem with iPad 10th generation running iOS 18.5. Was running ok until 18.4.1. It does various different things.
Shuts down unexpectedly after a few minutes then will not restart
Screen goes black almost immediately then nothing happens
Cameras do not come online but do on the older iPad
I have rebooted the IPad, and constantly restarted the app.

@Wayne-TP For further information, the app runs ok with only 2 screens showing. The problems start when I use the 4 split screens.
Log has been emailed to you.

@Wayne-TP We are having the same issue. App is crashing constantly. Usually the App will load but will crash within 20 seconds of being open.
Seems to crash immediately if we have 2 cameras being viewed but even one camera crashes after 10-20 seconds.
Also using an iPad with the most recent iOS.

What's your app version? If the problem is consistent, please export a log and send it to us for analysis, and make a screen recording when you try to replicate the problem. Is the email you registered with for the forum your primary contact email?

@Wayne-TP The app is not creating any .ips reports. I tried to make a screen video of the problem but the video crashes at the same time as the Tapo app.
