Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 241213 Rel. 184446

After about a month of usage I've started experiencing weird issues with P304M power strip. It's operating at a fraction of rated capacity powering two monitors and recently a weird issue started happening. It's plugged into dual wall socket along with desktop computer and randomly entire socket cuts of power for fraction of the second. At first I thought there was momentary power outage but I've noticed nothing plugged into other sockets on the same breaker lost power. Monitors are plugged with P304M and PC is plugged with P110M and both lose power at the same time. No other P110M plugs I have that are plugged into the same circuit are affected. Upon further investigation and testing I've noticed that this behaviour doesn't occur if I'm not using P304M power strip and normal "dummy" power surge strip instead. For whatever unspoken reason, P304M somehow manages to crash a singular socket on the circuit seemingly at random (hardware idling and not drawing much power) without tripping breaker or affecting any other socket. Furthermore today I've had an issue when strip was visible on the TAPO android app but toggling switches was completely unresponsive - everything plugged in had power supplied but couldn't toggle on or off via app or physical buttons on the strip until it was unplugged and plugged back into wall socket again. I've bought these products solely for the purpose of remote control (I often spend time away from home and access my machines via remote desktop, also I run my workstation 24/7, often rendering 3D while away/sleeping) so having this happen is less than ideal. This behaviour defies all logic but then again, I'm 3D artist and not an electrician so what do I know?

Any idea what is happening? And how to prevent/alleviate it?

  @Marrond

Do you know what type or model the wall socket is? Please check if this happens when only the P304M is plugged into the wall socket. What if when the P304M is connected to another wall socket?
