Model: Tapo P110  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.4 Build 250403 Rel.150504

Smart plug will flash red orange after being used daily. App says low signal, but once reset it'll show full signal. A second P110 I have with the same hardware and firmware behaves as expected plugged in the same socket.

For your case, we recommend getting a replacement first, as this plug has been in use for a long time and the issue does not occur with another plug placed in the same location. To proceed with the warranty, please contact the retailer or the local TP-Link support

No one is tampering with the plug, it usually loses connection whilst in use, which it did this afternoon. I'm weeks away from the end of my warranty.
