C510W not returning to viewpoint
C510W not returning to viewpoint

Hi,
My camera has been working just fine until recently. I've always had a viewpoint set looking down at my driveway and motion tracking enabled. The camera has always returned to the viewpoint after tracking an object.
The last 2 weeks though, when motion tracking has been on, the camera moves from its set viewpoint to track a moving object, but then when it returns to the viewpoint position it goes back to a position looking straight ahead and not to where the viewpoint is set.
Weirdly as well, with tracking off, and the camera set to the viewpoint, randomly it will just track an object and go back to its wrong position looking straight ahead.
I've tried following some suggestions like turning on tracking after it's pointing at the viewpoint and factory resetting it.
Anyone else experiencing the same?

Hi,
I had some support from TP-Link. They tried to install a custom firmware on my camera to solve it, but that didn't solve it and ultimately they gave up and recommended I replace the camera.

The only thing that really helps is to use sw button (pan/tilt to defaults)
Of course, you can't use it in automation.
But every day reboot is the same. And it can helps.
Reboot or pan/tilt reset makes another problem. If it used on every day schedule, it can damage wires in camera. Not at one day of course, but one year will be enough.

BTW my problem a bit different.
After any move, specially after up/down, camera returns a bit lower then recorded view.
I found another "solution" - is to put camera in "confidential" mode. This mode moves camera in zone where you can't move by software. "Ball" of the camera moves upwards and this lift the view back to it start point.
