TAPO P105 as normal plug

Hi everyone.
I would like to know if it is possible for my plug to work as a "normal" plug, while I stay in my mountain house.
When I leave the mountain house, I would connect it to the internet to use it as a smart plug.

When the smart plug loses its WiFi connection, it becomes a dumb plug. The WiFi module in the plug is integrated into the device and does not have a separate switch. When it is used to control a modem router, the outcome is the same whether the modem router is unplugged, or the plug itself is unplugged or turned off—you're not able to control it through Tapo app when the WiFi connection is lost. The schedule feature continues to work even when the WiFi or internet is down, but if there is a power outage and the plug is not able to reconnect to the internet -- to resync device time, then the schedule won't function anymore.
If your intention in making the plug a dumb plug is to shut down the internet, then powering down either the router or the plug will achieve the same result.
If you plan to connect the plug to other appliances, once the modem router is unplugged, the device will also naturally become a dumb plug due to the loss of the WiFi connection.

Tapo smart plug is a standard plug enhanced with smart features. You can not only use the power button to turn on/off the plug, but also control it via the Tapo app. Additionally, you can set schedules, timers, and even automation for more advanced control. And Tapo smart plug supports remote control by default. Once it is set up successfully and connected to the internet, you can control it whether you're at home or away.
Could you clarify what specific features you mean by "normal"?

Thanks for your answer.
I would like to use the plug without connecting it to the modem during the months when I am in the mountain house where I installed the plug (because I do not need a remote control) and activate the connection and, therefore, the remote control, when I return to the city house.
This is because the plug is connected to a portable modem that can only connect 10 devices.

If there is no other way, I will do this: I'll unplug it when I'm in the mountain house and plug it back in when I'm away.
I was hoping the switch could turn the smart plug into a dumb plug.

@PaRi53 Although you can't control it remotely, most of the operations such as auto-off time and Scheduled on/off triggers will still occur. I've not tried it but switch on your phone's hot-spot and naming it with the same SSID as you home should allow you to control it as a smartplug. Obviously that is not possible it your phone is connected to the router.
