What's the firmware version of your Tapo C220? From what I learned, due to some necessary updates, the firmware 1.3.1 that supporting this feature is currently on hold, but a new version will be released soon. If your device is not running this version yet, please be patient while waiting for the new firmware to be released.

I have receivad a beta FW 1.3.2 which I was told should enable access to H500. Sure enough, it worked for ONE camera, but after upgrading my THREE additional C220 I am again unable to change storage location. I am in dialogue with support, but this really takes too much time. I spent 1,5 hours in chat yesterday, without resolution. Now Support asked for logs from the app - and the instruction I received doesn´t work. So I can´t even send the app logs to TP-Link...

Hi @Uffez,

 

When support team asked me to share app logs, I also didn't find relevant link bottom of the manual about how to send logs...

I use the Tapo app in language other than ENG.

Then an idea came to my mind and changed the phone's language to ENG, mentioned point became available within the app and I was able to send logs.

  @SecCamFan OK, I have actually tried to change language in the app - that also failed or maybe I did something wrong. I will try again.

  @Uffez Not a very good app. I am unable change langusge. Consequently I cant find the logs. Bit of a joke.

You have to change your phone language, and then it will be changed in the Tapo app; there is no other way

To submit the app log, navigate to the app Me page > Support Center, choose the product type and model, then click any FAQ, and slide to the bottom, there is a Contact Technical Support option, then choose Email Support.

You're right, these are the steps for sending logs to the support.

However, if the language of the application (=phone's language setting) is other than ENG (in my case, I only understand ENG beyond my native language, so I set my phone to ENG), necessary contact technical support button/link isn't available.

Maybe it can work and possible to send logs using other language as well, e.g Chinese but for me it didn't work until I set the language of the phone and application to English...

Well, I was able to connect my C220s to H500 after changing the app language to english. Had to change the system language on my iPhone. So, now they are all connected.

What's your native language? And your App version?
