P100 forgets Default State setting

I have several P100 and P110s. Some have died, but this is a new problem. If I set the Default State to Off (or On) it reverts back to Last "On" State as soon as I leave the menu. Tried a reset but the same. Any ideas?

- Make sure your Tapo app is updated. You may try to delete and reinstall the app.

- Do not enable VPN while using the Tapo app.
- Try to manage the plug on another phone or tablet, see if the same occurs.

@Wayne-TP Thanks for your reply. I can confirm that the plug has upto date firmware and an app reinstall gives the same problem. The error ocurrs on both my iPhone and iPad. As for sending logs, there is no option to select technical support on the work flow. I went back and selected the camera as detailed in the guide and even that doesn't match what I'm seeing.
