  @SugarBaby

Just confirmed with the tech team, the ringing action for H200 is not supported in local smart. There is a plan for optimization but no ETA so far.

understand, thanks

Edit: My workaround for ringing a hub as local automation is not working, after some time that automation is changing to the cloud one.

So don't use it. It won't work.

I also created a very simple smart action using an S200B button linked to a H200 hub - 1 simple touch on button triggers H200 to ring. This action is working fine if the hub is online. Then I switched off the WiFi and the HUB went offline - LED turned into amber. Since that point, smart action didn't work anymore, until the WiFi was switched on. I planned to use the S200B as a smart doorbell switch, but it's working only in that case when the HUB is online... However, it should be working and hub should ring even in case of outage in Internet service, right? Based on FAQ pages linked by SugarBaby, I think local action should take effect in offline mode as well... What would happen if I would use S200B to control (switch on/off) a smart bulb? Would I be able to switch on the light only in that case if the HUB is online?

- yes it will work locally but your WiFi still need to be ON for lights and plugs (it will work if your internet is down), only automations for ringing the h200 hub is not locally at this moment

sadly you can't make local automation for ringing a hub, my workaround is not working, its resetting after some time to cloud automation. Ringing the hub for local automation is only working for h100 hub at this moment.

Like @Wayne-TP said, it will be hopefully added in the next optimisations firmware update for h200

Thanks @SugarBaby.

Indeed, I didn't take Wayne's comment into consideration...

Hoping that new FW for H200 will contain fix for this

Hi, it's not only hub ring automation, these automations are local if all devices paired with the hub h100, but not local anymore when all devices moved to hub h200.

  @Wayne-TP

If you add a 'rotate clockwise' and 'rotate anticlockwise' trigger in the same automation for the same button, it won't be local anymore with the Hub H200.

  @Wayne-TP

Same if you add any "IF" to the automation, then it won't be local anymore with the hub h200

Are you planning to add migration option to the hub h100?

I wonder if it's the same problem with hub h110, but it's to much hassle for me to migrate all devices from the hub h100 again to test it, hah xd

@Wayne-TP

Video examples:

If you add a 'rotate clockwise' or 'rotate anticlockwise' or 'single tap' or 'double tap' as trigger in the same automation for the same button, it won't be local anymore with the Hub H200:

So for now: hub ringing action, multiple triggers or if you add "IF" to the automation, then it won't work locally with H200 hub.
