  @DonnyBerger got it. In my Me section there's no new firmware for my devices 😔 I'm currently using 1.0.23 😔 Maybe it's region-based. Hope TP-Link releases the new firmware in my region pretty soon.

  @DonnyBerger

If I can't do this I brought 2 t110s for nothing and they will just be a waste of money. My current sentry lock just uses a magnet on the door frame near the lock and works great.

Open Tapo Dl110 with S200B
Saturday

Mr. @Wayne-TP

I am a recent user of the Tapo ecosystem and I am very satisfied with the cost-benefit ratio and features of your devices. However, I would like to report a limitation that significantly impacts the user experience of my Tapo DL110 smart lock in conjunction with the Smart Button S200B (connected to the H200 Hub).

When trying to create an automation, I noticed that the system allows configuring the button to "Lock the door," but does not provide the option to "Unlock/Open the door" as a smart action.

This feature is essential for me because:

I frequently receive visitors and I don't always have my phone nearby or with battery power to open the door remotely.

I purchased the S200B button specifically with the intention of using it as a physical "opening command" inside the house.

Since security is a priority, I understand there may be caution, but the option of automated unlocking (perhaps protected by a confirmation or time limit) would bring enormous versatility to the product.

I hope you can consider including the "Unlock/Open" action in future DL110 firmware updates or in the Tapo App.

Best regards,

André Pimentel
