Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1. 4. 0 .20-00_422015_200108_901

I had this problem for a while, tried to reset both extenders but still they connect to eachoter.
My house has 2 floors, one is on the first floor and the other on the second, i connect both to the router and they wont connect, it seems like a chain one extender connects to another then the other connects to the adapter.
I think the problem is that my room is on the other corner of the house, making the distance very large, but when i started using it was working just fine, the Wi-Fi of the adapter it's worse than using my normal Wi-Fi and it fails too much tha the powerline LED goes off a lot of times.
I get 200ms or more and I use a LAN cable to my computer.
If you need more details I'm here to cooperate

As you can see this is how it looks on the tpPLC utility, it shows the two powerline extenders connected to each other but it only shows 2 "LEDs" when in reality there are 4 and 3 of them are on except the LAN LED. On the right bottom corner it says that I am concected with "Sem internet" which means "No internet".

Thanks for reading this and i hope someone can help me as soon as possible.

Hi,

Could you please confirm how many Powerline devices you have installed in total? (i.e. how many TL-PA4010 and how many TL-WPA4220)

It's not fully clear to me from your description.

In case you have two TL-WPA4220 KITs, do you want them to build one large Powerline network of four devices or two separate Powerline networks of two devices each?

Do I understand it correctly that you don't intend to use the "Powerline" connection, but instead want to connect the two TL-WPA4220 via Ethernet directly to the router, like illustrated in the picture below? But the problem is that the two TL-WPA4220 have unintentionally established a Powerline connection between them?

No, I do intend to use the "Powerline" connection and yes both of the TL-WPA4220 are connected to each other I believe, sorry if Im not making it clear enough, but I want it to look like the image you showed but not with Ethernet, with Powerline connection. Thank you for your time.

Ok, if this is what you want,

then you need to pair the two KITs separately.

The safest way would be like this:

1) Plug only one TL-PA4010 and one TL-WPA4220 into wall sockets that are fairly close to each other. Leave the other TL-PA4010 and TL-WPA4220 unplugged.

2) Reset both, the TL-PA4010 and the TL-WPA4220 that are currently plugged in. (the TL-WPA4220 has a dedicated small "Reset" button to do that, on the TL-PA4010 you need to press and hold the "Pair" button for about 8 seconds to initiate a reset)

3) Pair the currently plugged in TL-PA4010 and the TL-WPA4220 by pressing the "Pair" button on each of them and then verify the "Powerline" LED turns on on both.

4) Unplug the TL-PA4010 and the TL-WPA4220 from the wall sockets and put them aside.

5) Now perform steps 1 to 3 with the other TL-PA4010 and the other TL-WPA4220 that you had left unplugged previously.

The kit had only one TL-PA4010 and 2 TL-WPA4220 and in the start it was working just fine, both connecting to the TL-PA4010. The kit came with two i didn't buy another TL-WPA4220

  @LeoSousa

If you have a KIT of three, then you cannot separate the two TL-WPA4220.

To make a KIT of three work you have to "pair" all three together (first pair any two units and then pair the third unit to them by pressing the pair button on one of the already paired units and then the pair button of the third yet-to-be-paired unit). In the tpPLC Utility you should then see all three on the screen.

The pairing and subsequent review with the tpPLC Utility should be done with all three units fairly close together. Once proper pairing has been verified the units can then be spread around the house. If one or more units stop working after that, then it means the distance between any two units is to large.

But will it still be available to connect to each of the separately? Or will it show only one internet to connect?

Are you refering to the name of the wireless network? That name will be whatever you type in the "SSID" entry field.

No, I'm saying if it is going to show only one wireless network ore will it show separately? For example: I connect everything like you said and will it show "TP-Link_B4D6" and like " TP-Link_D3F5" or will it show just one of them?
