Model: Tapo H110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 250106 Rel.102345

Hi,

Based on the page https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/4128/#voice%20commands i would supposed that the portion to add IR appliances to google home should be pretty straight forward.

However, with the remote added into Tapo. When synced into google home, the remote is showing as offline while the Fan is in working condition.

Control via Tapo app works for the Fan but not through Google. Is there something that i am doing wrong ?

Regards,

Bara

Try to unlink and relink Tapo and Google, see if it helps. Double-check whether the IR fan is controllable with the Tapo app while your phone is on a remote network, such as when using cellular data.

1. Open the “Google Home” APP and select Settings > Works with Google.

2. Find “Tapo” on “Linked” service, tap and select Unlink account.

3. Confirm “UNLINK” to unlink Tapo account from Google Home.

By the way, what are the online fans in your device list? Are they corresponding to an individual smart device?
