I loaded the new 1.1.4 firmware a couple of hours ago on both my main router and mesh satellite, reset both (I always reset fully when applying a new firmware), and am up and running without any problems.

@TheHypnooToad Thanks for the information. I just checked the support site for US version (where I was able to download version 1.1.3) and only version 1.1.2 is available. Seems like both versions, 1.1.3 and 4, have been removed.

For what it's worth, I did the upgrade from 1.1.2 straight to 1.1.4 via the Tether app, and it worked smoothly. No weirdness on the 5GHz network, no need to do a factory reset, all devices simply reconnected after the reboot, including the EasyMesh connection.

@microserfian may I know what region your routers from? My Tether app says that I have the latest version (1.1.3). My router is a US version.
I saw that there is a downloadable file for the EU versions.

@ChuckLox Mine's from the Canada region, so it would be different firmware from the US one. The website still only shows the 1.1.2 version, but Tether showed the latest 1.1.4 Build 20250813 rel.41793.

@microserfian ,@ChuckLox ,@Mtr77 ,@SmashedAtom .
Hi All,
Firmware 1.1.4 Build 20250813 rel.41793 has been released in most regions. You can check for updates in the firmware update interface or download the firmware from your region's TP-Link official website.
This firmware should fix the reported issues and has been verified by @TheHypnooToad ,@vlwwwwww ,@Maciej.
The firmware for the US region has not yet been released, but I believe it will be released soon. Please give us some time.
Thanks for your understanding.

Same tether updated me in Australia a few day's ago works great no drops or need to reset..... Great work to tp- Link
1.1.4
Very much appreciate you and the team supporting the product's post purchase
PS I do think in Asia region's setting a static channel for all the bands Helps version 1 hardware
I've got a mix of 25 devices some lot and some big name products robots seem to like particular channels in aus which is great but if the router is set to Auto this can be a problem and mistaken for smart connect issues
Kind regards
Mick
