On my camera, the Alarm Event Type option is not available. In the Alarm menu, I only see “Alarm” and then “Detection Alarm.” There I can only set when the alarm will sound (beep), but I cannot configure it to work with specific zones, or to react only on line crossing, intrusion into a defined area, or only on person detection.

I would like this feature because of the following use case:

– When people are just walking on the street or sidewalk, I still want the camera to record that motion, but I don’t want the alarm to sound.

– However, if someone enters my garden (the protected area), I would like the alarm to sound in addition to recording.

This would make the alarm much more useful in real-life scenarios.

I also have another suggestion: it would be great if Motion Detection and Person Detection could also be scheduled in the same way as Line Crossing Detection, Area Intrusion Detection, and Camera Tampering. Currently, Motion and Person Detection can only be enabled or disabled, but not scheduled. Having scheduling for all detection types would make the system much more flexible.
