I have the RV30 Max Plus Vacuum.  It has an auto collect feature and it makes the noise like it is vacuuming to the bag, but the vacuum machine is still full.  I manual empty it into the bin and have tried about 20 times over the last 6 weeks.  Brand new bag in the tower.  Have done the unscrew of base of tower and check vacuum path, it is like new as it has never worked. 

The only thing I can see that might be contributing is the clear little flap on the machine is missing or does this model not need to have one?  My old one had a clear flap on the vacuum compartment, is this needed?

Pretty sick of having to manual empty, as this is why I bought this model!  I can't work out how to do a claim on warranty either.
