Tapo P110 (AU/FR/UK/EU) V1.0 - Firmware 1.3.4 Build 250403 Rel.150504

Description

On a Tapo P110 V1 with firmware 1.3.4 Build 250403 Rel.150504, you may find the smart plug disconnects unexpectedly while the LED turns to blinking amber and green. And a reconfiguration is required to add the smart plug back to the app.

Solution

Relevant modifications will be added in the future firmware version.

Currently, a beta firmware is available for community users to address this issue. If you would like to try it out, follow the instructions below to apply the beta.

How to Apply Beta Firmware?

1. Check the Mac address of your Tapo smart plug.

2. Send a private message to @Wayne-TP with the following information:

[ID 840104][Tapo P110 V1 1.3.4 Auto Reset] + Mac address of your Tapo P110

Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.

@Wayne-TP This is happening with all my Tapo P110 plugs. Will there be a full firmware update soon instead of the beta? Thanks.

We don't have information about the release plan. You may keep an eye on the new firmware notices on your device. Or follow information on the TP-Link official website > product's Support page > Firmware Release Note section. TP-Link Download Center
