Hello,

 

I’d like to ask if there’s a way to increase the maximum duration of clips for TAPO cameras such as the TAPO C120. Currently, the “Clip & Download” feature only supports up to 10 minutes. Would it be possible to extend this to at least 1 hour? This would make it much easier to review CCTV footage or check recordings.

Hi,
For reviewing or checking camera video recordings, you can also watch them in the Tapo app. Could you please describe the detailed usage scenario and the reason why you want to download longer video recordings? I'll log them and forward them to the relevant team for evaluation.

Hello, Thank you for your response. The reason I'm requesting a longer video download duration is to make footage review more efficient. Currently, the system only allows 10-minute clips, which can be limiting—especially if the event spans a longer period, such as two hours. In such cases, downloading multiple 10-minute segments becomes time-consuming and inconvenient. If there were an option to download clips of up to an hour, it would greatly help customers by simplifying the review process and making downloads more manageable. Thank you, Aaron
