Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.2

Hi,

not sure which hardware version I have.

I have setup this doorbel - with H200 hub - works fine, and quick.

However;

When I leave the house, it sometimes takes very long to send a notification that there is movement. And sometimes it doesnt send anything at all.

I have tried different settings;

People detection, movement detection - even different zones. Sensitivity way up. Even active mode; balanced or high performance.

the notification just comes in very late, or none at all.

Is there something I am missing here ?

If the doorbell is positioned directly facing the entrance where people walk straight towards it, this type of movement cannot wake up the doorbell effectively. Consequently, the doorbell may respond late or even fail to activate, resulting in delayed detections/notifications or no detections/notifications at all.

Thanks ! I have read that article.

The situation here in the Netherlands is that almost every door has a straight path towards it - so logically you place the doorbell next to the door so that it always faces straight down the path.

So there any other options I can use ? Does it needs to be installed with the wedge for a small angle ?

thanks again

Using a wedge to adjust the angle of the doorbell camera may be helpful. I recommend testing it yourself, as the actual results may vary depending on the specific usage scenario.
