Hi there,

Struggling to find help for this one. I recently set up a new router and all devices I've connected to it are working perfectly except for one. One phone is just connecting but saying "no internet".

I found one thread on here that had some suggestions and followed all of them to no avail.

So for reference:

1. I reset the router

2. I rebooted the device itself

3. I forgot the network and re-connected

4. I tried changing the Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8

5. I tried manually inputting the IP and Gateway, Subnet mask etc

6. I tried connecting the phone to other networks and no problem there.

6. We even went and bought a new phone, thinking that maybe the phone was too old and drivers unable to connect, and still no luck!! So the device isn't even the issue now.

No idea where to look now.

Please help haha

Thanks!

Hello @KFagan24 ,

Welcome to our community.

What is the model of your phone? Have you tested the network through different brands of mobile phones?

Please try the following suggestions:

  • Enable the guest network for comparison.
  • Check if you have MAC filtering and access control enabled.
  • Test the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz connections separately.
  • Try different channels and channel widths.
