Hi,
The KC200's power cord is fixed to it, and we recommend using the original power cable and adapter to power the camera. We do not have any information on extension cables and can't guarantee that they will work properly with the camera. You may install the camera in a different location.

If you're just extending the power cable, most USB A male-to-female extension cables will technically work. However, keep in mind that the KC200 requires stable power, so using a high-quality, well-shielded USB extension is recommended to avoid voltage drop or connection issues.

Try to keep the extension as short as possible, and avoid very cheap cables. If the camera fails to power on or behaves inconsistently, switching to a shorter or higher-gauge cable usually fixes it.
